Job Tasks and Responsibilities
We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Premier Coal Technical Services team. Reporting to the Geologist Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
1. Preparation and delivery of coal quality reports to customers
2. Maintain mining and quality databases
3. Assistance with weekly coaling schedule
4. Preparation of documentation for customer meetings
5. Liaising with customers
6. Tracking production coal and waste data
7. Planning/scheduling support with exploration programs
8. Create and manage purchase requisitions for coal quality sampling, water management, geotechnical support and other activities as required
Skills and Experience
9. Experienced in the provision of administrative support
10. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with advanced keyboard skills
11. Ability to schedule and prioritise work to meet established deadlines with no supervision, whilst maintaining a consistent level of professionalism with an eye for detail
12. Experienced at prioritising tasks, following through to completion and showing flexibility when needed to accommodate task deadlines
13. An interest in earth sciences/geology would be advantageous
14. Sound understanding of risk awareness, hazard identification and a strong commitment to safety performance
15. Current drivers’ licence.
