Gransolar is a group of vertically integrated companies specialising in solar photovoltaic energy and battery storage systems.At Gransolar Group, we strongly believe that all our actions must be guided by our values and ethical principles.In this way, we can contribute positively to the development of the communities that we work in and to provide our employees an opportunity to develop themselves professionally and personally in each project.We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for one Land Acquisition Specialist for our Head Office.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAid with the delivery of utility scale BESS (battery energy storage systems) and PV + BESS projects from land acquisition to ready-to-build (RTB).Contribute to other ongoing team and company-related projects and business improvements.Conduct land use & feasibility studies for new renewable energy project opportunities.Interact and negotiate with the landowners to secure land agreements as required.Support integrated approval processes (Federal, State and Local) for renewable energy projects including but not limited to Solar PV / BESS / Hydrogen.Incorporate approval timeframes into project schedules to facilitate seamless coordination, by coordinating with the various internal teams planning, Grid connection, M&A engineering and the external consultants.Contribute to providing approval pathways, diligence and consistency to internal stakeholders while collaborating with external stakeholders, including community groups, governing agencies and consultants.Oversee the application and approval procedures for permits and licenses pertinent to each project's development process.Additionally, offer counsel and contribute to the identification and efficient management of environmental risks.Maintain professional interactions and foster effective relationships throughout all sectors of the business, while actively contributing to the achievement of company goals and objectives.Support other duties and project development procedures where required.Requirements and ExperienceTertiary education in Environmental Engineering, Town Planning, Sustainability, or related disciplines is required.Any current training necessary for qualification validity.2+ years of post-graduate experience in a similar role or as a planning consultant.Exhibited strategic planning and prioritisation abilities, with the proficiency to adhere to tight approvals deadlines and oversee budgets effectively.Proficient communication skills are essential for engaging with stakeholders across all levels.Experience in dealing with Commonwealth, State and Local legislations/policies.Experience in overseeing specialist consultants, orchestrating studies and reports, and demonstrating leadership in decision-making and problem-solving.White Card (desired but not required).Excellent understanding of technical and commercial aspects of renewable and energy storage project development.Problem solving and negotiation skills.Organisation and document filing skills.Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.Aptitude to take the initiative and be proactive in the role.A desire to learn and develop your career in the renewable energy industry.The position is Permanent Full time.In return we offer competitive salary packaging and great staff benefits, the opportunity to develop your experience with one of Australia's leading commercial solar energy companies and most of all an employer who really cares for their employees!If you are looking for your next opportunity and feel the above meets what you are looking for, then apply now!Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as an Acquisition Specialist?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Planning Specialist?How many years of project management experience do you have?What's your expected annual base salary?How many years' experience do you have in environment & planning law?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?#J-18808-Ljbffr
