Job Description
You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of up to 10 members. This includes overseeing safety compliance and fostering a safe working environment.
You will also train and on-board new team members, with a strong focus on CNC machinery operation. Daily warehouse tasks include order picking and issue resolution.
Collaboration with day-shift leaders ensures smooth shift transitions. You will also make suggestions for increased efficiency or operational improvements.
Pitching in where needed on machinery operation and general warehouse duties is an essential part of this role.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a solid background in warehouse or manufacturing environments, with a keen understanding of OH&S compliance and CNC machinery experience.
You are a natural leader who is comfortable with hands-on work and knows how to maintain a positive, safe work culture.
Forklift license and computer literacy are essential; prior experience with steel handling is preferred.
Australian working rights are required for consideration of this role. A pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening will also need to be completed.
