Position Details:
* Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight located in Kalgoorlie.
* Salary: $43.08/hr p/a + super + regional allowance $2.78/hr
* Working Monday to Friday.

About the Opportunity:
The Counsellor / Educator provides assessment, counselling, case management, education, and support to individuals and families dealing with the impact of alcohol and other drug use and mental health problems.
Requirements of the Role:
* Contribute to progress against HOPE’s strategic plan and regional business plan.
* Provide screening/assessment, counselling, education, support, advocacy, case management, and referrals to meet the client’s goals.
* Develop and review recovery plans with clients.
* Provide respectful support and effective interventions for people experiencing mental health concerns and AOD use.
* Maintain accurate client records and participate in quality audits.
* Provide progress reports to referring agencies and funding bodies.
* Participate in community prevention activities and service coordination meetings.
* Implement OSH policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements:
Appointments will be subject to Australian residency/visa, satisfactory National Police check (within 3 months), Working With Children card, Current C or A class driver's license, First Aid Certificate, and suitable work referees.
