Current opportunity
The role is responsible for the core accounting andadministrative processes of a variety of clients includingbookkeeping, preparation of periodic accounts, accountreconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll andsubmission of the PAYG, BAS, superannuation payroll taxes asrequired.
An overview of your responsibilities are asfollows:
* Bank data coding and reconciliations
* Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable & Payroll
* Weekly and Month end reporting, including month end close procedures and adjustment journals
* Working papers preparation
* Preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts
* Budget preparation and monitoring
* Administration support including correspondence with clients and suppliers
* Preparing specific reporting and excel documents
* Business Activity statements preparation
What you’ll need to succeed:
* At least two years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping
* Experience with Xero and MYOB
* Strong MS Office skills
* Strong communications skills
* Fast learner
* Detail oriented
