Functions & Restaurant Duty Manager - Walkers Arms Hotel The award-winning Walkers Arms Hotel is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in the full-time position of Functions & Restaurant Duty Manager. Having a passion for food and customer service – you must motivate front of house staff, whilst maintaining standards of exceptional service and hospitality. This hands-on role will include, but not be limited to, the following duties: Oversee daily operations across mainly, but not limited to, the Restaurant, Functions and Events A hands-on role working with the client and their function/event on the day/night Floor shifts and managing all aspects of service Ensure customer satisfaction, training and management of front of house staff Assist with the coordination of promotions, functions, hallmark days and special events We are looking for someone who has/is: Minimum 2 years' experience in an F&B role is essential Energetic, motivated and passionate about food and customer service Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong leadership and communication skills, a "can-do" attitude and the ability to converse easily with customers is essential Work over a 7-day roster, weekend work is essential Reporting to the Venue Manager your core focus will be to drive the food and beverage services, key events, functions, hallmark days and revenue. This position is hands-on and as such you will need to lead, inspire and monitor the food service operations to deliver on the day-to-day business objectives.
