Property Leasing Administrator
Join a dynamic property services team in Melbourne, VIC as a Temporary Assignment, Full Time (6 months/possible extension) role.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Property Leasing Administrator to manage property asset leases, licenses, and agreements, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and delivering maximum benefit to stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
* Administer the lease renewal program, ensuring property leases, licenses, and agreements remain current and compliant with policies and legislation.
* Provide professional advice on real estate management activities, including leases and agreements under the Retail Leases Act 2003 and Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978.
* Develop and maintain accurate property asset information and lease registers.
* Negotiate, prepare, and review property agreements in both commercial and residential contexts.
* Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with service delivery goals.
* Identify and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and systems for lease management.
* Support health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, adhering to workplace safety standards.
Key Requirements
* Degree or industry certification in real estate, property management, or a related field, coupled with relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of property leasing legislation and real estate management practices.
* Proficiency in real estate information management systems.
* Demonstrated experience in lease negotiation and compliance in both commercial and residential contexts.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering timely and accurate outcomes.
* A valid Victorian Driver Licence and willingness to travel within Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
