Senior Project Officer Knowledge Broker Temporary (30 Jun 2026) full-time opportunity Office location – Parramatta Salary relative to experience and ranges from $116,059 to $129,288 + Super Our Biodiversity Information Systems Team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer, Knowledge Broker to coordinate and implement change management and communication activities associated with the BioNet Next Generation and BioNet Data Capture programs. This role will work closely with other programs to ensure partners and stakeholders involved in the capture, supply and management of environmental assessment and monitoring data are well informed and supported. About the role Develop and implement effective strategies and programs to support the strategic direction of BioNet program priorities. Develop and implement Change Management Plans and lead the development of communication strategies that target stakeholder needs and ensure consistent internal and external communications. Develop and deliver content including documents, plans and other engagement products that explain complex processes clearly and are suitable for varied audiences, stakeholders and platforms. Synthesize and articulate scientific and technical information in customer focused plain English, provide editorial input, and facilitate science communication through planning, training, developing and reviewing written and digital content for multiple communication channels. Map new and existing end-to-end business processes and contribute to their optimisation. Collaborate with relevant areas to ensure a strategic and integrated approach in delivering communication outcomes, including promotional opportunities related to science projects and develop promotional and marketing material, and media opportunities. Contribute to communication within and between the program areas and ensure that external communication channels are appropriate, efficient and effective for the target audience. Manage projects, using current project management methodologies and processes that improve productivity, encourage innovation, and develop teamwork to enhance the delivery of science communication. Evaluate science communication by analysing and monitoring ongoing accessibility and effectiveness of communication channels, including social media and multimedia platforms especially in relation to building awareness.
