About the opportunity
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe transfer/discharge of patients from MHW Neonatal Services.
* Coordinate the transfer of non-care managed patients from MHW through collaboration with other health services and the PIPER team
* A key stakeholder in the provision of family centered care

About you:
* Resourceful and adaptable – you will excel in a team that upholds the Mercy values of Compassion, Hospitality, Respect, Innovation, Stewardship and Teamwork (CHRIST) in everything we do
* Proficient in cultivating strong professional relationships to facilitate collaborative care and effectively contribute as a member of our multidisciplinary team
* Approachable and compassionate, you bring a flexible and positive attitude
* Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA (REQUIRED)
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Care Nursery and/or Neonatal Intensive Care (DESIRED)
* Recent experience working in a Level 6a or 6b (or equivalent) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* A current Police Record Check
* A current Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders (*Mercy Health no longer requires proof of COVID-19 Vaccination)
