Quality & Systems Assurance Manager
Georgiou Group has partnered with ACCIONA Construction Australia in a joint venture to deliver a new train station located in Hope Island on the Gold Coast. The Hope Island Station will form part of the Cross River Rail New Gold Coast Stations program. The project will involve construction of a new station structure, car park, intersection upgrades and associated services.

About the role:
Based at our site offices in Coomera and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will assist with the coordination and management of technical issues, planning, resourcing, survey, procurement, and quality control for an assigned area. Additionally, the Quality & Systems Assurance Manager will;
1. Cover typical Quality Assurance requirements on the project as well as the systems engineering and assurance requirements.
2. Manage the rail assurance systems and quality plan whilst providing documentation and evidence across the project stage gates.
3. Identify relevant project lifecycle gates and acquire approvals according to the railway integrity assurance plan.
4. Provide integrity assurance reports, assess compliance, and make recommendations.
5. Demonstrate that the safety management approach is adequate and will provide the necessary evidence to substantiate the safety claims throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Assess the potential risks associated with the system and develop risk mitigation strategies.
What you're good at:
7. Recent experience working in systems engineering and assurance on rail projects.
8. 5+ years of systems engineering and assurance management experience.
9. Proven experience working with Queensland Rail and an understanding of the Rail Safety National Law (Queensland) Act 2017.
10. Managing the project audit schedule, ensuring all external/client/process audits are undertaken as required.
11. Encouraging a culture of disclosure and open discussion for all assurance and quality matters.
12. Providing detailed documentation including tracking and categorisation of each requirement.
13. Possess the relevant tertiary qualifications.
