We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Fulltime Accounts and Administrative Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative processes. You will be a part of a supportive and collaborative team who are passionate about exceptional customer service.The Role: Daily processing of bank reconciliations for: Individual administration accounts Group accounts Trust accountsProcessing Trust account allocations and payments Processing supplier invoices Saving incoming correspondence Preparing weekly/monthly payments Attending to stakeholder enquiries Managing the AP email inbox for a range of queries Payroll support assisting with approval and accuracy of time and attendance records from Deputy Provide reporting, and administrative support to the Senior Bookkeeper Assisting the Team with billing and banking tasks Other ad hoc duties as required Skills & Experience: At least 2 years' prior experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or similar role Experience in bank reconciliations Other professional experience or exposure such as Accounting, Medical or Real Estate Practice advantageous but not required. Reservation and scheduling software knowledge highly desirable but not required. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Demonstrate initiative and take responsibility Knowledge of Xero Software Knowledge of Deputy Rostering software or similar Proficient in Microsoft Excel and solid IT skills Ideally you will have trust accounting experience Work Authorisation: All applicants must have working rights in Australia and are subject to a Police Check (National Police Certificate).
