Develop and implement the clinical business development across key clients, delivering breakthrough technology solutions to enable clients to enhance patient management. The product portfolio to deliver these solutions includes next-generation sequencing and is heavily focused on support for genomics in clinical settings with oncology being key.Key Responsibilities:Represent Thermo Fisher in strategic clinical settings with government, industry, strategic working groups, and clinical clients. Influence and collaborate with industry in the strategic adoption and implementation of new tests across ANZ.Focused on business development, build a short and long-term funnel captured in the CRM and in a strong business plan to exceed expectations.Identify, develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, key decision-makers, or potential influencers across territory to grow and promote the business.Remaining in touch with market changes, competitive landscape, and clients, the individual will be able to adjust quickly to respond to dynamic market opportunities.Manage key processes including the annual price agreement renewal process and key sales processes. This includes tenders, quoting, sales funnels, forecasting, CRM, mobility, territory and account planning, account reviews, and driving excellence in processes that enable the team and the customers.Build and manage existing accounts and prospect for new business to drive our footprint in this emerging segment and contribute to sales growth.Partner and work with the local sales, marketing, FAS, FSE teams to build business opportunities and coordinate a company approach with our customers.Meet revenue and annual sales targets as set each year for the defined territory and contribute to the achievement of the region goals.Expectation on the road: 30% travel.Selection Criteria:Tertiary Qualifications in Science and strong life science including genomics knowledge is preferred.3-5 years of relevant, industry-specific Business Development/Sales experience, preferably in a life science area.Proven understanding of the local ANZ clinical market and key customers is an advantage, along with technical understanding of NGS, Oncology, and Reproductive Health products.Ideal for a strong Customer Relationship Builder and an effective communicator.What are our Benefits?We have a competitive salary, performance-related bonus structure, and a range of other employee benefits.
