Your new role You will be working alongside senior level engineers in the design team, tasked with engineering specific and unique systems. You will develop technical solutions for a range of intricate products and ensure that their designs and decisions meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance standards. The position requires regular interaction with various engineering disciplines, program management, external partners, and suppliers. Current Opportunities Electronic Engineer Mechanical Design Engineer Senior Engineers and Management Opportunities Weapons Systems Design Systems Engineer Rocket or UAV experience of interest Software Engineer Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of systems for aerospace applications, ensuring high reliability and performance under various environmental conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including optics, electronics, and system integration to develop comprehensive design solutions. Perform detailed mechanical design and analysis using advanced CAD and simulation tools to validate structural, thermal, and dynamic performance. Develop and maintain design documentation, including detailed drawings, assembly instructions, and testing protocols. Lead design reviews, present technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Drive innovation, exploring new technologies and materials to enhance system capabilities and efficiency. Be involved in mentoring junior engineers and technicians What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience within the aerospace or defence industry Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and aerospace manufacturing limitations are desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
