Family Preservation and Reunification Response (FPRR) PractitionerBrophy Family & Youth Services – Warrnambool VICAre you passionate about making a difference?Join Us as a Family Preservation and Reunification Response (FPRR) Practitioner!Help families stay together and thrive by providing vital support and advocacy.Employee Benefits:Above Award Salary - $97,537.44 - $101,951.17 (Based on Qualifications and Experience).11 Wellbeing Days (to support worker well-being) - in addition to Annual Leave.Awesome Not-for-Profit Salary Sacrificing options of up to $15,899 per FBT year.Portable Long Service Leave (from eligible organisations).About the Role:The Family Preservation and Reunification Response (FPRR) Practitioner is a vital position within a collaborative initiative in partnership with Meli, Mpower, and Warrnambool City Council.This role is central to the delivery of the Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification Response (FPRR), an evidence-based program designed to prevent at-risk children from entering or re-entering care.As an FPRR Practitioner, you will implement a wrap-around, evidence-informed case management approach, working closely with children and families to provide rapid, intensive, and sustained interventions.Your work will involve close collaboration with partner agencies to deliver culturally safe, relational, and adaptable support tailored to the unique needs of each family.Your responsibilities will include conducting intensive assessments, care team planning, safety and risk planning, and implementing parenting strategies to promote resilience and self-determination.This role requires flexibility, including after-hours work, and a commitment to a strengths-based, child and family-centered approach.You will report to both the FPRR Team Leader at Meli and the Team Leader – Integrated Family Services at Brophy, ensuring a coordinated and effective response for the families you serve.This is a Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (until June 2026)A full list of key duties is outlined in the Position Description, but includes responsibilities in:Delivery of the Family Preservation and Reunification Response providing a rapid, intensive, wraparound response to meet the immediate safety and developmental needs of children and support the adult needs of parents.Work intensively with children, young people and families to support family preservation and reunification in line with the Child Protection case plan and Care Team.Proactively participate in case supervision, developing the practice framework including Communities of Practice approaches, case reviews, monitoring and evaluation.Strengthen the family's connection to community by meaningful engagement with community supports that will sustain the family over time and be culturally appropriate.Do your skills include:Minimum of two years' experience in case management.Comprehensive understanding of Child and Family Services, the Child Protection system, relevant legislation and court orders.Demonstrated understanding of trauma and its impact on children and families, family violence and its impacts on children and families, and the impact of disability for children and families.Creating and sustaining dynamic and productive relationships to maximise outcomes.Are your credentials:A tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, community services work or equivalent.Current Full Victorian Drivers Licence.About Brophy:Brophy Family & Youth Services has supported children, young people, families, and the southwest Victorian community for almost 50 years.We live here;
