Salvos Stores is the retail arm of The Salvation Army and operates over 340 retail stores in Australia. Salvos Stores operates as a fully functioning retail business, recycling pre-loved goods and relying heavily on the generosity of the public.
Salvos Stores maintains a professional retail network and dedicated store staff and volunteers, professional Support and State Offices, a great team of retail managers, and a highly effective operations team.
Our Warehouse Volunteer Team plays an integral role in ensuring all our stores are supported in a timely and professional manner by providing much-needed sellable donated goods and other sundry items.
Position Responsibilities
Sort through donations, discarding anything that may not be fit for sale.
Effectively dispose of items that are unsaleable and ensure quality products are kept for distribution.
Assist with daily warehouse tasks.
Assist in sorting bric-a-brac, electrical items, and books.
Housekeeping.
Follow Workplace Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
Document hazards appropriately and follow security policy and procedures.

Important Note: Volunteers must be 15 years of age and older.
