The Company:Our client, a growth-focused, ASX-listed critical minerals producer is currently searching for a Processing Manager.Position Overview:The Processing Manager will oversee daily plant production operations. The role requires a strategic leader with extensive plant operations experience, ideally with background and technical expertise in flotation and gravity circuits. The Processing Manager will ensure the plant operates efficiently, safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements while improving and optimising production processes to achieve the company's operational goals.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the processing plant, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.Continuously evaluate and improve processing methods to maximise recovery rates, throughput and overall plant performance.Ensure all processing activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team.Lead, mentor and develop the processing team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Develop and manage the processing department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality metals.Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance and production metrics to executive management.Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers and contractors.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in metals processing, with a strong background in flotation and gravity processes.Proven track record of managing, optimising and improving plant operations.Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading and developing technical teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.The chosen candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package in line with experience and suitability to the role.
