Schneider Electric is the most local of global companies dedicated to innovation, excellence, and sustainable solutions.We pride ourselves on our commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology and engineering to create products that shape the future.As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineering Team Leader to join our Team in Manufacturing plant in Benalla.We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineering Team Leader to lead our Electrical Engineering Team in developing commercially viable kiosk, switchgear, and transformer products and provide ongoing product enhancements based on market requirements to meet customer expectations.This role requires a technical background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.Drive the design and development of electrical systems and components, ensuring adherence to project satisfaction, budget, and timeline.Conduct reviews, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.Support the Tendering and PM teams and factory organisations with product expertise and in resolving quality issues.Lead the technology strategy for Switchgear products.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas, learn from failures, and implement process enhancements.Provide regular performance feedback and identify opportunities for skills development and training for team members.Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification.Proven management experience in leading a team.Experience in MV switchgear and transformers design and application.Experience in MV distribution in Electrical Utilities would be an advantage.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team to achieve excellence.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.Experience with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for electrical systems.All applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for an interview.#J-18808-Ljbffr
