What Your Day Will Look Like….
As a Multicultural Mental Health Coordinator, you'll provide clinical consultations to support clinicians working with CALD consumers, ensuring culturally appropriate care. You'll engage in assessment, treatment planning, and psychoeducation for CALD consumers and their families. Your role involves using cross-cultural communication skills to collaborate with interpreters and cultural support workers. You'll build partnerships with local providers and CALD communities, lead service development activities, and provide training to improve workforce capability. Your leadership will support less experienced practitioners, and you'll contribute to service improvement through research and evidence-based practice.
