Job Description
The Microbiology Technician will be responsible for conducting facility validation testing at our clients new GMP facility, located in Clayton. The validation testing will include viable and non-viable environmental monitoring, utility testing and management of sample logistics. You will work within a team of technicians to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and procedures are adhered to. Training will be provided.
Reporting to the Microbiology Team Leader the role will focus on:
1. Performing a range microbiological, chemical and physical environmental monitoring and utilities testing.
2. Adhering to testing procedures at all times
3. Operate under GMP regulations
4. Result entry and review
5. Perform OOS investigations as required
Qualifications
As an important role within Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing, the following selection criteria are essential for success:
6. Diploma in Microbiology or Laboratory Skills
7. Previous GMP experience

8. Willing to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice.
9. Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
10. Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding.
11. Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.
12. Occasional weekend and public holiday work will be required.
13. Ability to quickly learn new processes.
