About the Centre Brunswick City Baths is a state-of-the-art aquatic and fitness centre located in the heart of Brunswick.
The centre offers a wide range of facilities, including a 50-meter heated outdoor pool, a 20-meter heated indoor pool, a waterplay pool, a gym, a group fitness room, a functional training room, a spa, a sauna, and a steam room.
The centre offers a variety of programs and classes for people of all ages and abilities, including swimming lessons, water aerobics, yoga, and pilates.
About the role As a Lifeguard at Brunswick City Baths, you'll help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors.
You'll be patient, focused and friendly to keep pool-users informed and safe.
Duties of the role include: Supervising a large aquatic space while pro-actively ensuring a safe environment? in and around the pool area Carrying out intervention and preventative action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, the facility and equipment.
This is a permanent part-time position (9-18 hours per week based on availability) and the hourly rate is $25.80 + Super & Y Benefits.
About you We are seeking motivated, organised and pro-active Lifeguards to come and join the team on a permanent part-time basis.
The successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users.
Availability on weekdays between 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM is preferred, but a range of shifts may be on offer for the right candidates.
