We're looking for a skilled Trainer to provide expert training support to IMS system operators based in Canberra.
In this role, you'll shape training programs, deliver engaging sessions, and contribute to the development of intelligence and situational awareness capabilities.
Please note: Due to the security requirements of this role, candidates must hold or have held a TSPV within the last 12 months.
Applicants must also be eligible to work on ITAR controlled technology Key Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Training Concepts.
Review, develop, and enhance end-user training courses and materials.
Plan, coordinate, and manage training schedules.
Deliver scheduled and ad hoc training sessions.
Advise on training requirements during system development.
Complete instructor training and certification in the US.
Support operators with On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Conduct training both on-site and at interstate/international locations as required.
Participate in project meetings, service reviews, and technical discussions.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Background in analytical intelligence .
At least 3 years working in or with Defence Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Forward-thinking with a proactive approach to seeking opportunities and proposing solutions.
Desirable Experience: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Familiarity with geospatial tools and data formats (e.g., Google Earth).
Nationally recognised instructor qualifications or experience.
Experience in developing training materials.
