About the role You will be in coordinate the operations and maintenance for the Cunderdin Solar farm located only 2 hours from Perth. Your main responsibility will be assist the site Manager on the right functioning of the project. This is a full-time, site-based opportunity, so the right candidate will need to relocate to Cunderdin. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, ensuring the solar farm operates efficiently and at optimal energy production levels. Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the longevity and reliability of all equipment. Enforce safety protocols and ensure operations comply with environmental regulations. Collect, analyze, and report on operational data, including energy production and equipment performance. Manage and train operational staff, ensuring they are skilled and follow best practices. Serve as the primary contact for external parties, including regulatory bodies, clients, and the local community. Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Continuously assess and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Skills & Experience Full driver’s license Ability to build relationships with a variety of different people. Vocational Educational Training (VET) or Associate Degree. Preferably Electrical or Mechanical 2 years of experience in supervision positions in renewable energy generation plants favored but not essential.
