Located on Ngunnawal land in the rapidly growing regional centre of Queanbeyan, Queanbeyan High School is a comprehensive high school educating students from diverse backgrounds. The school has an enrolment of 506 students. 22% of students have English as an additional language or dialect and 14% of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Our school has 8 Support classes.
Working to consistently improve the cultural safety of the school, high expectation relationships ensures every teacher and every student improves each year through personalised learning with an emphasis on differentiation for all levels. A collaborative community of practice is growing within and between schools and underpins school improvement. Members of the leadership team are expected to drive this collaborative approach across the school.
