Our client is a leader in the industry providing comprehensive maintenance and reactive services to large commercial, industrial and manufacturing food and beverage equipment across Australia. Due to growth, we are seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to join their team to conduct service and maintenance on equipment across the region, whilst developing and building relationships with customers.
The role:
* Carry out preventative and corrective Maintenance on equipment at customer’s premises, this involves being able to problem solve and diagnose faults with equipment.
* Carry out the Installation and Commissioning of equipment under the guidance of Project Management.
* Complete all required paperwork neatly and accurately to ensure that there are no delays with invoicing and payment from the customer.
* Conduct basic technical on the job coaching to service technicians and provide feedback throughout the process.
* Ensure that all customers on site procedures and observe all customers policies.
* Take ownership of the job and use your initiative to deliver an exceptional level of customer service.
* Ensure that rolling stock takes are undertaken to minimise stock losses.
* Foster relationships with both internal and external customers
What we’re looking for:
* Full Electrical License
* Valid Driver's license
* Extensive experience in Fault Finding
* Service Work Experience and/or industrial experience.
* Availability for On Call (nights, weekends, public holidays) on a rostered basis.
* Excellent customer service.
* Strong problem-solving ability
* Able and willing to use PDA (handheld computer).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, balance the competing demands, work to deadlines.
* Proactive approach in all aspects of job.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* A highly motivated self-starter
