You will play a crucial role in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent in the transport sector. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies to fulfil these demands. Your expertise in the transport industry will enable you to identify potential candidates and ensure we build a diverse and skilled workforce. We are looking for someone with a resilient personality, who understands road transport, the operational impact driver availability and suitability has on the business and the issues associated recruiting within the logistics industry.

Key responsibilities include :
* Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the transport industry.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements.
* Post job openings on various platforms and manage responses.
* Source candidates through networking, referrals, and recruitment events.
* Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidate suitability.
* Maintain a pipeline of candidates for future openings.
* Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
* Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions to adapt recruitment strategies.
* Collaborate with HR to support onboarding and retention initiatives.
To be successful you will have the following experience:
Been involved within transport recruitment for a minimum of 2 yrs in the sourcing of drivers from HR to MC licence classifications in a high paced environment. You'll thrive on dealing with all types of operators from Metro PUD to Long distance Triple Road Train operators.
* Proven experience as a recruiter, in the transport or logistics industry.
* A solid understanding of Transport industry requirements and equipment.
* Experienced in recruiting Truck Drivers HR / HC / MC – Double / Triple road train operators
* Strong understanding of transport roles, industry standards, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
* Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
