About The Role:
Are you ready to take your IT career to the next level? Compare the Market is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll be crucial in maintaining and optimising our IT environment, working across technologies like Microsoft 365, Intune, and Okta.
You’ll be part of our team who manage the Microsoft 365 environment, software and OS deployments, automations, all while owning application management and assisting with infrastructure tasks. Supporting the service desk by solving technical issues and providing upskilling opportunities, you’ll ensure smooth and efficient IT operations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory/Entra to ensure optimal performance and management.
* Manage Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for seamless device, application, and Windows deployments.
* Oversee OneDrive, SharePoint, and email infrastructure to maintain reliable communication and collaboration.
* Configure and manage Okta for SSO/SCIM provisioning, authentication, and user management.
* Handle software packaging, deployment, updates, and mobile device management (MDM).
* Develop and implement automations to streamline IT operations and minimise manual tasks.
* Manage software and licence assets, ensuring compliance and optimised usage.
* Guide and support Service Desk Engineers, encouraging skill development and knowledge sharing.
* Apply best practices to optimise our environment and ensure peak performance.
What You’ll Bring:
* Relevant experience in managing and optimising IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and modern deployment practices.
* Proven experience managing dynamic IT systems, including AAD/Entra, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
* Proficiency in configuring and managing email infrastructure, OneDrive, and SharePoint environments.
* Skills in overseeing Okta for identity and access management, as well as application packaging and configuration.
* Experience in modern deployment processes, including managing updates for Windows, applications, and drivers.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to IT management and continuous improvement.
* Commitment to staying current with industry trends and recommending improvements to enhance IT systems.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end users.
* Dedication to mentoring and supporting the professional development of service desk engineers.
