Sharp & Carter is currently partnering with a leading Australian Retailer in their search for an immediately available Digital Marketing Manager on an initial 6 month contract with a view to permanency.
About the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will report into the Marketing Director and is responsible for the continuous drive improvements across online, digital and social channels. The role will have a strong focus on improving the online customer experience journey to deliver a customer focused, effective, results driven omni-channel customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a push and pull digital strategy promoting in-store and online growth, acquisition and retention through paid performance channels, lead gen, SEO / SEM, paid and organic social, content marketing including blogs, and affiliate marketing etc
2. Manage all areas and channels of digital, social and performance lead marketing to deliver business targets and continued growth across the store network in Australia and New Zealand and web sales nationally.
3. Develop and implement a local market cell digital strategy to deliver continued growth in Bricks and Mortar store visits, conversion and revenue
4. Develop and implement an ecommerce strategy to drive online visits, conversion and incremental revenue online minimising cannibalisation of store revenue
5. Develop/Deliver online (SEO content, E-comm VM, CX, UI), digital marketing (SEM) and social media thought leadership and strategies improving customer awareness and engagement in an omni-channel environment
6. Lead a high performing team of Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and external agencies to deliver best practice across Digital Channels
7. Real-time review of campaign and performance metrics/data to improve awareness, engagement and conversion across online, digital and social platforms; having awareness of cross functional engagement requirements across B&M Stores
Key Skills Required
8. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar discipline
9. 5+ years’ experience in a senior online marketing or ecommerce management position within a retail environment
10. Significant understanding of ecommerce metrics across online, digital and social channels covering acquisition, conversion and retention activities
11. Cross functional project experience to deliver omni-channel sales growth
12. Outstanding organisational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building and people management skills.
13. Ability to identify issues, prioritise actions and implement business solutions in a timely manner based on sales drivers and other supporting data
