About the opportunity
An exciting, newly created role exists for a highly motivated Social Worker to join our team. This is a chance to be part of something exciting, to grow with our organisation, and to be a part of a collaborative, energetic, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of clinical and non-clinical psychosocial supports to assist individuals to support their mental health and achieve their recovery goals.
Provide outreach support services which requires a willingness to work with participants in their homes and the community.
Complete intake and assessment duties to ensure that the support response focuses on participant's strengths, goals and objectives.
Assist with the development and implementation of shared support plans across the multi-disciplinary team.
Regularly monitor that the delivery of services and support are within the highest level of customer service using a trauma-informed and recovery orientated approach.
Demonstrated knowledge of legislation
Ability to work to productivity targets.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously and take ownership of a caseload of participants.
Hold a current WWCC (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR.
Hold a valid Australian driver’s license.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Social Work.
Previous experience in Social Work within the NDIS preferable but not essential.
Eligibility for membership of the AASW
Evidence of current CPE, as per AASW requirements
Demonstrated ability to interact with participants, their families and service providers.
Demonstrated knowledge of legislation.
A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
Ability to work to productivity targets.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously and take ownership of a caseload of participants.

Hold a valid Australian driver’s license.
