CCLHD - Registered Nurse - Dementia and Behaviour Support Services (DABSS) Central Coast Local Health District – Newcastle NSW Essential Criteria: You have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You possess recent clinical experience with dementia patients and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice. You have demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written verbal and interpersonal skills. Where You'll Be Working The DABSS team focus is to assist patients and their Carers with concerns and issues related to cognitive impairment / Dementia within the community. The primary role of the position is to undertake community-based assessments and care planning for people with dementia using a person-centred approach. The role also includes memory screenings and the provision of education, information and support to people with dementia and their carers.
