Auto Electrician - LV & AuxiliaryWe are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at Western Australia Iron Ore sites in the Pilbara. The successful candidate will work on a rotating 8/6 7/7 roster from Perth.About the RoleThe Auto Electrician will be responsible for conducting complex diagnostics and maintenance activities/repairs on Light Vehicles and Auxiliary equipment. They will also work efficiently and effectively on equipment such as Heavy Road Transport, Light Vehicles, Service Trucks, MPU's, Lighting plants, Generators.Key Responsibilities:Conduct complex diagnostics and maintenance activities/repairs on Light Vehicles and Auxiliary equipment.Work efficiently and effectively on equipment such as Heavy Road Transport, Light Vehicles, Service Trucks, MPU's, Lighting plants, Generators.Follow specific maintenance programs and procedures and carry out checks on equipment as required.Ensure accurate completion of technical documentation, reports and drawings as required.Be comfortable in the use of computerised maintenance systems (SAP), including time confirmations, raising notifications and closing work orders.Take personal responsibility for helping the team achieve expected results by doing what is required and taking timely actions within the scope of ability without being supervised.Undertake training on a regular basis and provide support and coaching to work mates within area of responsibility.Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with rescheduling of work, organising and coordinating resources, scoping of work and prioritising when required.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in the implementing of the new initiatives in a constructive way.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:Australian recognised Automotive Electrician Trade Qualification (Heavy Industry).Strong auto electrical maintenance experience with sound diagnostic abilities.Desirable Experience working on Scania, Toyota, Mobile cranes, Mitsubishi.Experience within Mining industry preferred, however agricultural or heavy industry will be considered.Ability to work off schematic drawings.Strong presentation, communication and coaching skills and the ability to work closely in a team environment.About Our ProcessWe are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
