Who You Are
We are seeking applicants for the position of Sample Preparation Assistant, who are excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers. You will be based at our Atbara site in Kalgoorlie, WA and will be responsible for preparing mining samples for testing using specialised equipment. You will be fully trained in the Sample Preparation process of predominantly Ore Samples.
Some Of Your Tasks Will Be Sorting, weighing, crushing and milling What You Will Bring To The Role
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
Reliable and keen to work Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15 kilo sample bags of Rocks, Sand or Core Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety Rotational Shift Roster Up to 10 hour rotating day and night shiftDay shift 6.00am-4.00pm Night shift 4.00pm – 2.00am The benefits
