About the role
This autonomous role entails looking after a variety of customers across a well-established territory encompassing all of VIC. Your typical customers will include the likes furniture manufacturers, OEM, joiners, cabinet makers etc, as well as architects & designers. Reporting into the National Manager, your ultimate responsibility in the role is to continue to increase revenue across your portfolio of customers.
Duties
1. Manage & grow your portfolio of accounts
2. Develop market across furniture, kitchen, flooring, OEM markets
3. Specification management with architects & designers, including presentations and project follow through
4. Day to day management of key stakeholders, spending the majority of your time on the road in front of customers
5. Identifying opportunities for new customers
6. Utilising the CRM to maximise sales efficiency
7. Discovering new opportunities to assist in the overall revenue growth of your territory
Skills and Experience
8. Sales experience in the building products market
9. Experience in, or exposure to, the timber market highly regarded
10. Experience in A&D specification
11. Understanding of how to plan & manage a large portfolio of accounts effectively
12. Experience selling into kitchen, furniture, flooring manufacturers etc would also be beneficial
13. Passion for customer-facing sales & delivering solutions to customers
