About the role:
This is not your typical assembly line Electronics Technician role. This unique position offers you the ability to step away from the work bench and conduct inspections, fault diagnostics, repairs and parts replacement on Defence weapons systems, equipment, and vehicles.
Within this role you will gain experience working on control systems which only working with the Defence can offer. This full-time opportunity has a pay rate of $39.10ph + $4.89 ERA per hour + Super. You will work 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday with midday finishes on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
9. Performing system checks on Defence weapons systems, electronic components, vehicles, optical equipment, communications equipment and combat management systems.
10. Effectively diagnose electronic faults down to circuit card level Interpret Defence Technical Manuals and parts list.
11. Undertake Defence specialist equipment and Vehicle System Training.
12. You will adhere to all regulatory and contract specific requirements.
13. You'll gain exposure to many different systems and machinery. These include: RADAR systems and display, laser sighting systems Surveillance and Control Equipment and Satellite equipment (GPS, SATCOM).
Key Skills & Attributes Include:
14. Minimum requirement: Cert III Electronics Or Cert III Electronic Technology.
15. Knowledge and practical experience on complex communication and/or electronic systems maintenance, support, design, or installation.
16. Exhibit strong mechanical and electronic/electrical aptitude.
Due to the nature of our client, you must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
