We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Fit Out Project Manager to drive and deliver store projects across our brands at Retail Food Group! As our Retail Fit Out Project Manager you’ll have fit-out or commercial industry experience, proven success in previous roles and be able to trouble shoot and solve problems quickly.

The Opportunity
RFG is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Fit Out Project Manager to assist with delivering a large pipeline of store refurbishments, new builds and defits across our national brand portfolio. As part of this role, you will be exposed to a fast paced and challenging opportunity to use your project scoping and estimating skillset to their full advantage. This is a client-side role that requires a great level of engagement with our franchise partners, landlords and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Working in a team environment where you’ll be a part of a design and construction framework on some of the retail industries leading brands.
* Assess and create scopes of works based on brand standards and landlord requirements.
* Liaising with builders, trades, and suppliers via phone and email.
* Create cost estimates for new, refurb and small works.
* Attending meetings with clients/Project Managers and Designers.
* Take full ownership of the cost management of projects including general administration of PO’s, invoices and everything in between.
Experience & Competencies
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Fit-out or commercial industry experience is essential.
* Knowledge on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical building components.
* Shopfitting background or trade background and franchisor experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
* An ability to work well in a team environment & autonomously.
* Be able to trouble shoot and solve problems quickly. Effective time management and attention to detail.
* This role requires own transportation for some travel between our Gold Coast office and external consultants based around the Brisbane area.
