We have capabilities across all facets of civil and infrastructure, from earthworks, road and bridge construction, theme park upgrades, treatment plants, water storage structures, subdivisions, and concrete remediation. Each of our projects demonstrates innovative construction methods and our problem-solving attitude.If you are a self-driven individual who is proficient in planning and managing self-perform works, enjoy conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes, managing a team of engineers and supervisors, and possess high-quality communication skills, then we would love to hear from you!About The RoleMaintain a positive and proactive working environment for staff and subcontractors.Participate in regular HSEQ inspections.Represent Alder in a positive manner to a wide range of clients.Review project documentation and identify ahead of works being carried out if there are any potential defects and/or project delays.Strict cost control and forecasting.Proficient programming skills for both long and short term project programs.Provide support and assistance to the estimating team to help procure work as required by the Civil and Infrastructure General Manager.Foster good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works/programmes prior to issue.Peruse in detail all project drawings, specifications, and all other relevant documentation prior to project commencement and throughout project duration.Organise and chair project start-up meetings with the project team and all supporting pillars.Identify, monitor and manage key project risks.Ensure subcontractors are completing their works in accordance with project documentation and specifications.Achieve agreed program deliveries within agreed timeframes and contract management scope.Manage all head contract claims (variations, extensions of time, progress etc.) and alert General Manager/Commercial Manager of any claims which may put project at risk.Preparation of monthly project reports in relation to all financial and planning aspects for presentation to Senior Management.Approval and sign off on invoicing with limits of authority.Organise completion and finalisation of contract matters at the end of the project.About You - Skills And ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualification highly preferable or as a minimum.5+ years experience as a Project Manager within the Civil and Infrastructure Sector.Excellent communication skills.Willingness to lead and motivate team members.High attention to detail.Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.High level of digital proficiency.Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals.About The BusinessIf you are looking for a role which is exciting, offers stability and allows you to have exposure to different projects then this could be the role for you!
