Auric Mining Ltd Auric Mining is an ambitious gold-focused mining and exploration company with a tenement package centred on Widgiemooltha approximately 100km south of Kalgoorlie.The Company is producing gold in 2024 through a joint venture arrangement and in 2025, plans to bring another gold deposit into staged open-pit production.The Opportunity As Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for the daily production activities of the mine, coordinating and validating daily ore movements, mapping, RC grade control supervision, interpreting geology, utilising geostatistical grade control software to design ore blocks and managing ore markups in a timely manner. You will ensure the accurate capture of ore movements and the minimisation of ore loss and dilution.The Company is constantly assessing new opportunities and workload permitting, you are likely to be involved in the assessment of other gold deposits.In addition, you will haveTertiary degree(s) in Geology/Earth SciencesProficiency in mining software with Micromine and Datashed skills preferred but not essentialGood geological mapping skillsGood mathematical skills with geostatistical skills highly regardedA sound understanding of open pit mining processes and proceduresAn ability to liaise effectively with engineers, equipment operators, other site personnel, and with senior managementCandidates must meet our pre-employment criteria's which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance and an Australian manual driver's licence.
