We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy and Power team at Marsh. This role will be based in Perth office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Energy and Power team at Marsh is a global network of 700 colleagues dedicated to advising companies in the energy, power, and renewable energy sectors. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Perth. This role is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates and will report directly to the Specialty Operations team leader, with day-to-day collaboration primarily with the Energy and Power brokers.
We will count on you to:
* Support Client Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support to Account Brokers.
* Foster Relationships: Assist in building effective working relationships with clients and insurers as required by the Account Brokers.
* Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that accurate and up-to-date records on all clients are maintained at all times.
* Understand Insurance Products: Develop a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered by the company.
* Knowledge of Legislation: Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, and Worker's Compensation.
* Client Awareness: Stay informed about the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.
* Adhere to Quality Practices: Follow the company's quality practices and comply with the Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.
* Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required from time to time.
What you need to have:
* High School Certificate or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar broking/operational role, preferably in an insurance-related field
* Minimum Tier 1 ANZIIF Broking License
* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communication
