The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Demand Planner for a permanent position to be based in our SMART Macquarie Park office NSW or Gepps Cross SA.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze sales forecast vs revenue forecast and identify core gaps
* Assign root causes for gaps and mitigate them in forecast meetings
* Drive forecast and demand integration
* Evaluate the impact of sales forecast on working capital and on-time delivery service
* Evaluate forecast accuracy and bias with standard root cause codification
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management (Masters level or a similar relevant discipline)
5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain across production, purchasing, logistics, and planning
Advanced skills in Statistical Modelling, Certified Professional Forecaster (IBF certified is a value-add)
Proven analytical, statistical, and data processing experience in a relevant role
Advanced knowledge of technical tools including Oracle, Forecasting tool (Kinaxis), MS Excel (advanced power query), Tableau
Understanding of Business Management and Marketing
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups and strong commercial acumen
A growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitude
Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to adopt a customer-centric approach
