Phillip Riley are searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the maintenance of plant, as well as the planning and implementing of maintenance strategies and improvements within the technical environment.Your salary would be $87,500-$107,500 + Super in QLDYour ResponsibilitiesAs part of your new role you will be responsible for tasks such as:Prepares drawings, plans, and diagrams of electrical installations, circuits, and stations.Assisting Engineers and the Engineering Team with the design and layout of electrical installations on infrastructure such as substations, switches, cabling systems, and motor control systems.The planning and supervision of preventative maintenance of our manufacturing machines and tools.Executing the designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of those plans.Keeping track and ordering necessary consumables and materials while considering the budget put in place.Working together with onsite Installers for any alterations needed of installation equipment or tools.Assembly, Testing, Updates, and Monitoring of all electrical equipment and ensuring legal and safety requirements are met.Installation of assemblies for protection relays, metering, and monitoring devices.About YouMinimum of 2 years experience in a relevant environment or comparable job position.Trained in using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.Excellent in interpreting and drafting of technical drawings.Confident in designing and implementing improvements in electrical processes.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently.If you feel like you would be a good candidate for the above role, please apply.Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule8 hour shiftWork LocationIn personPay: $87,500.00 – $107,500.00 per year
