Key Responsibilities
* Develops and implements improved processes for purchasing and managing hazardous materials within the Faculty of Health Sciences.
* Conducts a comprehensive audit of all hazardous equipment requiring registration, including laser equipment and any other equipment where radiation registration is necessary.
* Ensures the project is effectively initiated, and quality control, scope, and schedules are monitored and adhered to.
* Maintains a clear focus on ensuring compliance with Curtin policies and procedures relevant to hazardous materials.
* Collaborates with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams to gather requirements, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
