What you’ll do:
1. Work within a squad as part of the broader Claims Platform.
2. Build strong relationships through engagement with colleagues, and stakeholders across Business and Technology.
3. Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
5. Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
6. Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
7. Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery.
8. Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Platform Delivery leads, Scrum Master, architects, Developers, Tech Leads, Test Analyst to identify, capture, plan and deliver changes.
9. Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to business analyst chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership
10. Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.
What you’ll bring:
11. Recent experience with Guidewire Claimcenter
12. Minimum 5 years technical business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role, from a large organisation.
13. Minimum 3 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
14. Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
15. Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
16. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
17. Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.
18. Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines.
