About the Role
As a Project Lead in Organisation Design & Strategy function, you will lead the day-to-day delivery and execution of complex, time-bound organisation design, operating model and M&A initiatives. The role acts as the ‘glue’ to get things done, leading project teams to manage all aspects of project delivery in large scale transformation initiatives. This role faces into ambiguous environments and senior stakeholders, requiring individuals that can adapt their style to influence outcomes.

Role Type: 7-12 months Fixed-Term Contract
Role Location: Melbourne preferred, however open to Sydney, Auckland, and Wellington
Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week
What will your day look like?
Your key accountabilities will include:
1. Leading the delivery and day-to-day management of medium to large Organisation Design, Operating Model or People M&A projects or streams of work
2. Ensuring clear and timely decisions are made so work can proceed at pace
3. Performing all facets of project management including supporting governance, conducting critical path analysis, dependency, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, and supporting budget, resource and scope management
4. Developing strong stakeholder relationships and maintaining effective communication channels to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to success
5. Engaging and closely partnering with business leaders, T&C stakeholders, cross-functional leads and other key stakeholders to deliver the initiative
6. Improving our Organisation Design, Operating Model and/or People M&A frameworks, methodologies, processes and toolkits
7. Coaching Employee Journey Expert resources in projects, effectively delegating work and quality controlling outputs
8. Supporting our function to create high performing teams and positively contributing to our culture
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
1. Depth and breadth of experience in Organisation Design, Strategy, Operating Model and/or People M&A subject matter
2. Experience in leading teams to develop and implement organisation designs and operating models that meet the business needs, including key stakeholder management along the journey
3. Ability to quickly gather information on the progress of work and facilitate the resolution of roadblocks with key stakeholders
4. Proficiency in stakeholder management and leading large streams of work and/or projects
5. Experience in complex project and program management
6. Experience in supporting the capability uplift of project teams
7. Experience in financial services is preferred
