We have multiple opportunities for highly skilled Diesel Fitters to join our Cairns Field Service Team to support the Marine, Power Generation, Transport and Civil Industries. These are Permanent, Full-Time opportunities working Monday to Friday, 38 hours a week.
As a Field Service Fitter, you will:
Travel to specific customer site projects
Provide breakdown, diagnostic and warranty support for the CAT product
Complete scheduled engine rebuilds, repairs and general servicing
Minimise production downtime by prioritising work to the required timeframes
Ensure customer receives the highest quality of service and focus on increasing equipment performance

About You
A successful teammate will have:
Relevant Trade qualification
Demonstrated experience on industrial engines and experience in the marine sector is also highly favourable
Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
Dedicated commitment to health and safety
High level of initiative, reliability and ability to work independently
A customer driven focus and commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
A strong adherence to safety and quality control
