We operate over 13,000km of high voltage transmission wires and 110 substations in NSW and the ACT to shape a clean energy future for our country.About the OpportunityThis is an opportunity for you to join the Network Operations team at TransGrid as a Planning Officer to make a significant difference in the clean energy industry.You will be responsible for supporting the operation and growth of TransGrid's High Voltage Network by facilitating safe access for maintenance, asset replacement, and construction work on a wide range of High Voltage Apparatus.Reporting to the Operations Planning Manager, your key responsibilities include:Reviewing requests for access to work on the High Voltage Network.Reviewing outage and construction plans.Communicating and managing outage arrangements with external and internal customers.About YouAdvanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge of high-voltage transmission networks and the associated equipment, control, protection, communication systems, and auxiliary supply systems.Experience working on and/or providing safe access to high or low voltage equipment or mechanical systems for maintenance or construction work.Strong ability to analyze and apply technical documentation and rules to work processes.Excellent communication and customer management skills.Ability to use Windows-based computer applications.Rewards & Recognition:We believe in providing our people personal, professional, and social benefits so that they can deliver their best work each and every day.
