About the Role:
We are recruiting passionate, driven Senior Mental Health Clinicians to join our client's multi-disciplinary team in Whittlesea and Latrobe. This is a full-time, maximum term position for two years where you will play an integral part in providing integrated treatment and care for individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Duties:
5. Engage guests and develop trusting and professional relationships.
6. Provide comprehensive assessment and collaborative treatment plans for guests with co-occurring and complex mental health and AOD presentations.
7. Use trauma-informed, strengths-based, and recovery-focused approaches to deliver clinical interventions.
8. Provide regular secondary consultation to the team on guest care, treatment planning, and clinical interventions.
9. Engage and maintain stakeholder relationships with specialist AOD services, supporting referrals and assisting guests to achieve treatment goals.
10. Participate in research and evaluation projects related to AOD integration.
11. Promote a culture of Collaborative Relational Practice (CRP) and ensure person-centred approaches in all interventions.
12. Participate in the regular collection of service data for continuous improvement and service evaluation.
Skills & Experience:
13. Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
14. Accredited registration with a professional governing body (e.g., AHPRA, APS, AASW).
15. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the MH/AOD sector.
16. Valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Australian Driver License.
17. Proven clinical experience in applying evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions.
18. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and foster team commitment and cooperation.
Desired Skills & Experience:
19. Knowledge of local services relevant to mental health and AOD.
20. Understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Welfare Act and practices.
21. Experience working across Commonwealth and State-funded mental health/AOD programs.
