The Opportunity Applications close: 18 May 2026 Reporting to the Director, Architecture & Infrastructure, this senior leadership role is accountable for setting and maintaining the Future Fund’s enterprise technology architecture. You’ll guide architectural strategy, lead a high‑performing team, and play a critical role in shaping how technology supports the organisation’s investment and business objectives. This role operates at enterprise scale, working across complex systems and engaging closely with senior stakeholders across technology and the business. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead the development, maintenance and governance of the Future Fund’s technology architecture across the organisation Own and evolve architectural standards, roadmaps and artefacts, including data and application architectures Co‑lead the Design Authority, ensuring high‑quality, future‑focused architectural decisions Partner with technology and business leaders to assess risks, opportunities and alignment across the technology portfolio Provide strategic advice on solution design, technology trade‑offs and investment priorities Lead, mentor and develop architecture leaders and specialists, fostering a strong, collaborative team culture Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to inform innovation and continuous improvement About You To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Significant experience in technology architecture, consulting or senior technology leadership roles within financial services or similarly complex environments Proven experience influencing large‑scale, enterprise‑wide programs and architectural outcomes Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and modern technology platforms The ability to lead complex change, balance strategic intent with delivery, and navigate risk‑based decision‑making Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the credibility to advise at senior levels A tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) Architecture certifications (such as TOGAF) and investment or financial services qualifications are desirable We Are For Everyone At Future Fund, we are better for our differences.
