The Opportunity The Future Fund Management Agency has embarked on an ambitious transformation journey over the past four years, significantly enhancing its investment data and technology capabilities which includes three key teams: • Data Operations and Change. • Data Governance and Experience. • Relationship and Business Unit Management. As well as managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the Agency’s investment data, the IDM Data Operations and Change team also manages the delivery of new investment data and investment technology services and capabilities to our investment teams. An exciting opportunity is offered to an investment data professional who can support the IDM pipeline of change and capabilities and Business as Usual (BAU) activities. Your role will be to help bring the value of data to life which will require a solid understanding of data analysis, data management, data tools, data models and data lifecycle fundamentals coupled with a sound understanding of the private markets domain and associated asset types. You will also have domain knowledge in other asset types such as public markets and knowledge of portfolio construction and maintenance. You will be a creative, curious and proactive thinker who can develop excellent ideas and continuously learn new concepts. You will thrive off challenges and have excellent statistical and technical skills and expertise. Key Responsibilities • Business Analysis • BAU Activities • Partner and Vendor Management About You Skills and Experience You bring hands-on experience in financial services, particularly in managing investment data —whether it’s private equity, unlisted and listed property, infrastructure, private credit, hedge funds, or whole-of-portfolio analytics. Your strong quantitative background is backed by solid business analysis expertise, allowing you to translate complex data into actionable insights. You are proficient in an array of data analysis tools, including Excel, pivot tables, SQL, Python and other analytical tools. Additionally, you have a proven track record of using contemporary business analysis methodologies, best practices, techniques and tools to drive results and change. Key Competencies You are a self-starter with excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Your strong written and verbal communication skills allow you to confidently present insights and collaborate with senior and highly capable colleagues. You have demonstrated experience in building effective relationships and decision making ability to drive change e.g. process improvements. You have the ability to not only work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, but also to influence them to drive change. You have excellent organisational and time management skills, bringing with you a curious mindset and fresh ideas.
