The Fund is managed by Macquarie Asset Management Limited;Began with its purchase of the historic Riverina sheep stud "Pooginook" in 2007 and has grown to become one of the largest pastoral landowners/operators in Australia, with a total combined land holding of over 4.4 million hectares. They have purchased in excess of 35 properties and aggregated these into 29 pastoral businesses across regional Australia. These geographically spread sites leverage central services (e.g. IT) from a vibrant corporate head office based in Orange. You'll provide support and development of key business systems that support these contractors (People, Safety, Contractor Management, Risk Management). You'll also support systems to enable other corporate functions. The current WHS/HSEQ and Contractor Management System used at Paraway Pastoral is Beakon. You'll focus on optimising Beakon to ensure improvements in contractor safety, contractor management/compliance and the reduction in site incidents and injuries.Your New ResponsibilitiesEstablish consultation groups with functional SME's and business users to provide feedback on current capabilities / issues and future needs. Consolidate and validate feedback. Define user needs for the delivered products, for example a Resources Hub. Ensure the end-to-end process aligns with business requirements;Together with functional SME's, analyse and map the current system and processes to identify inefficiencies or other areas for improvement, test feasibility and analyse costs;Work closely with external vendors and functional teams to develop and design system solutions and workflows to address identified issues and meet user requirements;Create detailed technical specifications and documentation for system development, integration, and testing. Specify design for delivered products and work with necessary teams to identify and design content;Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance meet requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues;Oversee the deployment of the modifications. Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting;Assist in project planning and management, including verification of project scope, timelines, and resources. Track progress and ensure project milestones are met;Support and troubleshoot technical issues relating to key business systems currently in use at Paraway Pastoral;Prepare user manuals and system documentation. Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of the improved system;Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project status and any potential issues.Your Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Business Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst role;Experience with WHS/HSEQ, Contractor Management and Risk & Compliance systems highly regarded;Hold a current unencumbered driver's licence and willingness and availability for occasional travel (interstate and remote), sometimes requiring overnight stays;Strong vendor management experience and the ability to translate and influence system direction and enhancements;Technical skills in SQL and system integration;Personable and relatable personality and strong business acumen;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex systems and processes;The ability to work to non-negotiable deadlines; andExcellent verbal and written communication skills – you'll have the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
