Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead.This is a long-term contract role for an initial duration of 12 months, with a possible 12-month extension, located at our client’s offices in Deakin (ACT), Richmond (VIC), and Sydney (NSW). The position offers hybrid working arrangements, subject to negotiations with the line manager, in line with current NDIA policy. A minimum of 3 days each week in the office is required, with flexible arrangements in place for the remaining 2 days.As the selected candidate, you will:Provide technical oversight and guidance for support changes deployed to the Salesforce platform.Perform technical reviews of support changes, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational architecture patterns.Assist development squads in developing and implementing project configuration changes.Define and implement version control, branching, and deployment strategies.Maintain and configure Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Digital Experience applications.Exhibit a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Vlocity/Omnistudio components.Perform ongoing system administration, including maintaining user roles, monitoring application metrics, security settings, profiles, sharing rules, workflow rules, and data integrity.Investigate and resolve Level 3 incidents and develop solutions for minor change requests, including automation.Deploy changes via a metadata/source code and branching framework.Debug APEX and analyze logs to investigate issues.Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.Develop and maintain documentation on processes and configuration.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across various disciplines (business, architecture, data, etc.).Work within an Agile delivery methodology.Assist with troubleshooting API and integration issues with different applications, e.g., MuleSoft.Provide knowledge transfer and training within the team.Perform on-call duties as required.To be successful in this role, you should have:More than 5 years’ experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.Salesforce Admin ADM201 and Platform App Builder certifications.Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Classes) for debugging and managing minor enhancements.Experience developing or supporting Vlocity/Omnistudio.Experience with version control, branching, and metadata deployments.It is desirable if you have:Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Platform Developer 1 Certification or Vlocity Certification.A proactive approach to accessible design and development.Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain Baseline clearance.Apply now for immediate consideration—contact Param Kaur on 02 6268 9781 quoting Job Reference: #265693.The closing date for this role is on 19th March 2025.Expression of Interest for other Salesforce Technical Lead – PACE Support roles will remain open until 15 April 2024.Please note: Only candidates that meet the above criteria will be contacted.
