Job Description Ultimately this will be a hands on position working within a small, tight knit finance team.
Your key duties will include supporting the Financial Controller in all aspects of accounting, with key duties including: Reconciliation of bank accounts & credit cards, including inter-entity loans and all balance sheet items Preparation of BAS documentation for multiple entities within the group Maintaining the fixed asset register Processing Accounts Payable invoices Processing a full function, end to end payroll for circa 40 staff Process improvements, systems changes & ultimately driving forward the finance function The Successful Applicant The successful applicant should have: A degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally studying towards or completed a CA/CPA Experience in hands on reconciliations duties & BAS preparation Experience running a full function payroll Able & willing to process AP invoices daily.
Experience in the residential construction sector will be very highly regarded, as will experience using Xero.
