We are seeking an Electrical Asset Manager as part of the Engineering and Technical Support business to provide direction and support for electrical assets across water, recycled water, wastewater & stormwater systems to achieve customer, shareholder and regulatory requirements within a team environment.
Electrical Asset Management & Maintenance: Lead the management of electrical assets, including the planning and execution of condition assessments, renewal planning, and ensuring compliance with operational standards and specifications. Monitor asset performance and oversee strategies for maintenance and renewal.
Operational Support & Risk Management: Coordinate the ROMP process to address issues related to electrical asset performance, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure assets operate within safety and compliance limits. Manage electrical asset risks and prepare for operational readiness.
Technical Expertise & Improvement: Provide specialist engineering advice on electrical assets, including failure investigations, non-compliance identification, and corrective actions. Lead improvements in asset integrity, robustness, and lifecycle performance. Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and solutions to enhance asset reliability.
Planning & Business Case Development: Develop business cases for securing funding for electrical asset renewals or upgrades. Contribute to the Investment and Works Plan, ensuring electrical assets are included in long-term strategic planning for performance delivery.
To be considered for this position you will require:
* Degree qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline or suitable industry experience in the electrical field
* Understanding of and experience in treatment processes/product quality &/or operating assets &/or systems for the delivery of water &/or recycled water &/or stormwater product and services that meet customer and stakeholder expectations
* Extensive experience in developing and reviewing complex reports, strategies or plans for regulators, stakeholders or Senior Managers.
* Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the management of electrical assets
